Stella Mare’s is a Santa Barbara local’s favorite for lunch, brunch and dinner. French country recipes are offered with fresh fish, meats and poultry cooked on our wood-burning grill. Stella Mare’s is perhaps one of the best examples of Santa Barbara style. Located between Montecito and Santa Barbara, this charming restaurant is housed in a historic landmark Victorian home, overlooking the Bird Refuge. The decor is French Provincial meets Santa Barbara style. The glass Greenhouse, with stunning views of the Bird Refuge, has cozy sofas, a fireplace, and a full service bar.

This is a Reception (or rehearsal dinner) Venue.

Pricing: $ – $$ (menu pricing is subject to change)

Site fee: full & partial buyout is provided and pricing is done on a case-by-case basis

Capacity: Stella mares can accommodate private parties of 15 to 50 guests at the Restaurant and from 40 to 300 guests for a partial or full buyout at Cafe Stella Mare’s private restaurant. Stella Mare’s is also available for off-site catering.

Areas: main dining room, outdoor terrace, private dining room, ocean room, greenhouse, citrus room

Restrooms: on site

Requirements: Deposits are required and non refundable. Menu selections must be finalized two weeks prior to event and will be charged accordingly.  Please see your event coordinator for specific items and pricing. The final number of guests must be guaranteed 14 days prior to the event. This number is the minimum number for which you will be charged, and is not subject to reduction. Any increase in the number of guests expected will be billed accordingly. Stella Mare’s Restaurant will be prepared for 5% over the guaranteed number of confirmed guests.

Time Allotments: Daytime functions must end by 4:00 p.m. Evening functions must end by 12:00 a.m.  If more time is needed beyond the contracted time, additional charges may apply.

Catering: provide on-site and off-site full catering services

Parking: Private lot for parking.

Music: Ambiance music is provided at Stella Mare’s Restaurant. DJs and amplified bands are not permitted at the Stella Mare’s Restaurant location.

Alcohol Policy: full bar on site, can serve alcohol in any area of the venue

What is Provided:

Equipment & supply rentals are available upon request.  Subcontracted services can be arranged as well. Ambiance music is provided at Stella Mare’s Restaurant.
Buyout includes: Exclusive use of the facility, exclusive service staff, tables, chairs, linen, china,
silverware, glassware, event set-up and break-down. Room Fees do not include: food, beverages, flowers, centerpieces, entertainment, specialty rentals, wedding ceremony setup, valet services and sales tax.  Additional equipment and rentals can be arranged. Stella Mare’s Restaurant is closed on Monday for regular service, but is available for buy-outs and private events.

Decoration: All decorations must be approved prior to your event. They do not allow items such as: confetti, birdseed, rice, sand, sparklers, or glitter inside or outside the Restaurant.

Insurance: plates, tables, chairs, $500 deposit goes toward final bill,  case by case basis

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations received 30 days prior
to the event result in payment of 100% of the estimated food revenue  & beverage and 100%
of the buyout fee if applicable.  Cancellation charges are due in full upon such cancellation
