Q - What is your favorite location to work? What is the style that makes this location special for couples?

A - I love all the venues in Santa Barbara. But for an engagement shoot. I love El Matador Beach. It is a bit of a drive but it is so unique and so special. One of my favorite engagement shoot locations for the beach style.

Q - What is your #1 top piece of advice you give to couples before they hire you?

A - Get creative and have fun! Try to come up with creative fun ideas. Even if it’s something as basic as everyone dancing at the reception. No one likes videos where it looks like no one is having fun.

Q - What is trending with your couples?

A - I would say a Boho/Indie vibe is what we have been getting a lot of. Also the rustic look.

Q - What are 2 things you wish couples would do for every wedding?

A - I have always wanted to do a day after or even week after shoot at the beach with the bride in her wedding dress with the groom and even getting into the ocean.

Q - To date, what wedding have you done that has made the top of your favorite list, and why?

A - I'll try to pick something different than what you might read from other photographer/videographers, and don't know if I would recommend this for everyone, but by far the most fun was a wedding I shot in Kentucky. The bride and groom asked us to shoot their wedding in the theme of "The Office". It was so much fun and came out so cool. The interviews and the comments from so many guests really added to the day. It also makes for a longer video. The only downside is I don't get to post it on my website because of copyright issues. But, I assure you, if you are a fan of the show, it’s such a great way to go.
