A Social Media Takeover at the Fess Parker Wine Country Inn
Recently, #SharingLoveInSB stayed the night in downtown Los Olivos at the charming and quaint boutique Fess Parker Wine Country Inn. We got to take a behind the scenes tour of the Ranch, where literally all produce for The Bear & Star Restaurant is sourced from this farm. Chefs custom pick what to prepare and are included in what to plant and harvest.
There are several new wedding venues being built on the ranch, which you get to see during our tour, and we will be revealing more as they’re closer to completion. All we can say is that the views are pretty spectacular here.
Dinner at The Bear & Star Restaurant was quite spectacular. The service professional and impeccable. The team asked if we wanted to order off the menu, or have the chef bring out some menu items of his choice. We selected the latter and ended up with a feast of deliciousness! The kitchen brought out tastes from pretty much the entire menu., each bite more delicious than the prior. NOTE: Something NOT to miss the the Waygu beef!!
Our stay included a wine tasting for two where we went to Epiphany Cellars, a nearby wine tasting room just a few doors down, to enjoy some bubbly, Fess-tivity!
Breakfast was another feast in itself having what the restaurant had recommended for dinner, which were both delicious!
Across the quiet main street is an additional hotel building with a courtyard, splash pool, and patio, where we were treated to a rejuvenating 60 minute massage.
Meeting and event facilities at the hotel includes three private rooms, the largest of which can hold up to 100 guests for a reception. A veranda, and the garden patio can be reserved for meetings, banquets, or wedding receptions. Catering is also available. A wine room hides inside of a secret location inside of the restaurant.
All the staff was friendly and accommodating.
Whether using the courtyard for your wedding reception or rehearsal dinner, a room block or buy out of the property for you and your guest to enjoy during a your wedding weekend, a place to host your bachelorette or bachelor party or bookending your wedding planning with a relaxing, comfortable and memorable stay, we wholeheartedly give this place an very enthusiastic TWO THUMBS UP!
