Trendy Tuesday: Industrial Rustic Meets Tropical in the Funk Zone

In August we collaborated with Blueprint Studios and Emma Rose Floral on an industry celebration summer soiree for their grand opening. The Funk Zone warehouse lended itself to create an industrial themed evening. Incorporating the tropical, lush and colorful blooms of Emma Rose floral and vibrant lighting from SPARK Creative Events, it certainly became THE hot event of the summer!

Keeping with the summer soiree tropical theme, POUR created and offered signature cocktails using Cutler's Artisan Spirits, including Blueberry Mojito, Blood Orange Margarita, Strawberry Splash and a Champagne Sunset. For those who preferred something else to drink, Conway Family Wines provided the wine for the evening.

Mundos Catering served up some Central American influenced appetizers including Vegetarian Plantain Mini Sandwich, Korean BBQ Short Ribs Mini Taco and a Mini Native American Slider and a dessert station including: Mini Rellenitos, Tres Leches Bites and Wonton Nachos.

The COUTURE and VERDE COLLECTION rental from Blue Print Studios created a comfortable warehouse feel for guests to sit or stand and mingle while they enjoyed their drinks, nibbles and conversation while listening to beats by Grammy Nominee DJ Mark Lewis .

As the party turned to the evening, the lighting from SPARK Creative Events did exactly what lighting should do, transform a space.  The warehouse became a Miami-esque tropical location in the heart of Santa Barbara! The perfect combination of color and lighting enhanced the large tropical overhang that Emma Rose Floral built inside the main entry of the space.

A perfect evening for wedding and event professionals, inspiration and trends are certainly created when wedding and event professionals join forces to show their best work yet!

Thank you Braydon Russel Photography for the incredible images and photo booth!
