Modern Elegance at an Idyllic Coastal Micro Wedding

Brought to us from LuckEleven Events, today’s wedding is full of one-of-a-kind details and breathtaking views held at The Ritz-Carlton Bacara. The ceremony looked over the expansive beach and ocean, and featured two darling, curly-haired flower girls dressed from head-to-toe in all pink. Theoni Collection and La Tavola helped to furnish and decorate the reception, presenting textured white tablecloths and blush plates - not to mention the vines of florals from Knot Just Flowers which ran the whole length of the table.

A cigar bar, confetti wedding cake from the Milk Bar Store, and an LED sign hung on a greenery wall all helped to make this reception very trendy and unique. Plus, a myriad of string lights from Bella Vista Designs to the side and overhead turned the reception into a truly magical event as the sun went down.

Grace and John planned the wedding of their dreams with a small guest count, yet incredibly elevated details. The couple, who live in Boston and met at a wedding nonetheless, spent a lot of time at the Bacara in Santa Barbara as John travels there often for work. It only made sense to have their big day at a place close to their hearts. They brought their families and a couple friends to the west coast and had a very Santa Barbara-esque wedding week.

Grace found her dream dress at a small boutique in Boston made by Sarah Seven which was NOTHING like John could have guessed she would be wearing. She opted for a modern look with no train with a deep neckline paired with a dainty, pearl-embellished veil. Grace's vision was inspired by the idyllic palm fronds of the west coast and weaved that green accent through her details. Her vision was to add some modern California details to an elegant design. Together with the help of her planner and graphic design sister/maid of honor, they designed a romantic day on the cliffs followed by a night under the (twinkle light) stars.

As a surprise to John, Grace brought a cigar bar for the guests to enjoy through the reception. We worked with VB Cigars and the owners were so sweet and engaging with the guests, it was a highlight of the night! Overall, Grace said that she looked forward to all of her planning milestones and none of it felt like a chore. Their closest loved ones were able to make the trip to Santa Barbara and they had the ultimate California coastal micro wedding.
