Rodney's Vineyard is a wedding venue located on the Upper Mesa of Santa Barbara’s expansive and stunning Fess Parker Winery—and is still a fairly new venue in the area. Named after Fess’s late son-in-law Rodney Shull, the vineyard is known for both its pedigree—as the winner of many awards for its high-quality wine selections—and impressive views of the Santa Ynez Valley. It even has the privilege of being called “an emerging ‘grand cru’ site” by wine critic Robert Parker.

While the lower portion of Rodney’s Vineyard could be enjoyed by winery visitors, access to the upper mesa had been restricted to just the Fess Parker family and wine-making team for 30 years. Now, as of fall of 2019, the special site is open to exclusive wedding celebrations. The venue itself sits within the vineyard, hugging the Reservoir, while showcasing breathtaking mountain views of the iconic Grass Mountain and rolling vineyard and hills.

Decoration Policy: You may inquire about the availability of wine barrels; however, these are upon availability and not guaranteed.
Décor, specialty items and signage must be approved in advance. Removal of existing furniture must be approved prior to arrival and is subject to a labor fee. Items may not be attached to any fence, floor, tree or structure with nails, string, tape, staples or any other material. Open flames, such as candles or torches, are not permitted without a protective enclosure. Sparklers are not permitted in any area. Linens are discouraged due to breeze and wind. Farm or bare tables are suggested.

Cancellation Policy: A 50% non-refundable deposit is taken upon contracting to confirm all events. The remaining balance is required as a second deposit 45 days prior to your event. Any additional charges are due no later than (1) day prior to your contracted event.
Cancellation between date of signing and 45 days of the event – 50% of the total estimated cost (the deposit) will be retained.
If notified between 45 and 30 days in advance of the event – 75% of the total estimated cost will be charged to the client.
If notified less than 30 days in advance of the event – 100% of the total estimated cost will be charged to the client.
