Haley Richter Photography shot this rose gold-inspired wedding located at Ventura’s Serra Cross Park. The park includes sweeping views that span to the Pacific and the Serra Cross is a well-known iconic landmark in the area. Rose gold was the color of the day and sparkly, sequins details could be seen across the entire event from the reception table cloths to the bridesmaid dresses.

Devon and Pinkett provided elegantly simple florals of green and white for the day and Vintage Heart Events planned everything from the preparation to the sunset sparkler send-off. The couple and their guests also enjoyed a unique brunch meal complete with french toast, omelettes, quiches, and even a mimosa bar. Plus, for dessert, Nothing Bundt Cakes provided a two-tiered dream alongside a variety of delectable donuts.

From Haley Richter Photography:

This sunny California Rose Gold wedding is nothing shy of bright and glamorous with a mix of adventure!

Lauren and Homer got ready at the Crowne Plaza Hotel at Ventura Beach, where they shared their first look with their bridal party with beautiful views of the pure blue Pacific Ocean. Lauren chose to keep her florals simple with white and greenery to allow the blue of the ocean, the green of the palm trees and sky, and the rose gold elements to really stand out and shine in the warm California sun of September.

Homer and his and his groomsmen wore the traditional Filipino Barong Tagalog a lightweight embroidered formal shirt, meant to be untucked and considered to be the national dress of the Philippines. Lauren's bridesmaids wore various gold and rose gold sequin dresses which caught the sunshine and made their simple greenery bouquets to pop!

Serra Cross is on a mountain top, you drive up steep and winding roads to arrive, but the view is worth the trek! To the south is blue sky, ocean and a stellar view of downtown Ventura. To the North and East are mountains and view of farms, rolling hills and sleepy suburbs. Because Lauren knew she would be headed up and down some hills and wanted to be ready for a bit of adventure, she chose to wear a tea length gown- but didn't skimp on the glam. Her Justin Alexander dress had intricate and beautiful detailing of floral lace and beading.

Because Serra Cross is a park that closes at dusk, the schedule ran earlier, and guests enjoyed full sun for the entire party. On the menu was a delicious spread of everyone's bunch favorites- French toast, bagels, omelets, fresh fruit, bacon, quiches, and no brunch party wouldn't be complete without a make your own mimosa bar! Lauren and Homer opted out of a traditional wedding cake and added their own twist with a two-tiered bundt cake and a custom gold cake topper from Everlaser. The party ended at sundown with a dusk sparkler send-off and some epic sunset portraits as the sun set over the Pacific (every bride's dream!)
