Behind the scenes of every picture-perfect wedding is a great story of how it all came together, and today’s featured Santa Barbara wedding is no exception.

Events by M and M worked alongside today’s couple to plan and design their wedding originally set to be held in Malibu. However, when fires began to threaten the area, they were forced to make a quick location change. Meg Herzer and the rest of the planning team moved and re-designed the entire wedding over the course of about 12 hours to instead take place at Carpinteria’s secluded and scenic Ocean View Farm.

At the new venue, the couple was married under a floral wedding arch with views of the ocean as well as the avocado and coffee orchard in the background. Wedding details including flowers from Unique Floral Designs, the wedding party’s attire, and table linens came in gorgeous shades of dark magenta and blues, making for bright photographs captured by Ann Marie Studios. The reception took place at the location’s rustic barn under strings of twinkling lights hung from the ceiling. For dinner, Seasons Catering provided a colorful meal, while Liquid Catering kept guests’ glasses filled throughout the night.

Dancing and dessert in the form of a naked four-tiered wedding cake from Vanilla Bake Shop brought the event to a close before guests sent off the bride and groom.
