Two "Foodie" Weddings Featured on Edible Magazine

We are thrilled to have to of TWO of our members featured in our local Edible Santa Barbara magazine, wedding issue which celebrates the local food and and wine culture of Santa Barbara County. Last fall when the Editor/Publisher of the local magazine approached our editor, Zohe Felici about collaborating on the yearly wedding issue, we could not resist!  Because our members are la créme de la créme, we knew we would be featuring TWO unique and food-oriented weddings.........which is exactly what happened!

Congratulations to wedding planner Jill LaFleur of Atelier de laFleur Weddings and Events who not only submitted a wedding that got published, but it was HER OWN wedding!  A wine country stunner, the wedding weekend included a gourmet pizza party paired with farm to table salads from Jill's own home garden for the rehearsal dinner. The delectable wedding reception dinner prepared by Luca Crestanelli of SY Kitchen paired with wines from Sunstone Winery, where the wedding took place.

The floral pieces and design incorporated locally sourced floral, and were created by Jill's sister and fellow event designer, Colleen owner and principal designer of Atelier de laFleur

ByCherry Photography submitted the second featured wedding which celebrates local wedding industry manager of Pure Joy Catering marrying her husband, owner of Pacific Pickle Works. Their evening of locally sourced ingredients included farm to bar signature drinks, local micro-beers, regional roasted coffee and Channel caught seafood followed by a sweet ending of local ice creams.

It was not just the food and beverages that were local, Terra Malia Designs, sources flowers and plants which grown by regional flower growersand local farmers that are committed to sustainable growing practices.

Enjoy the articles, just don't read on an empty stomach!  buon appetito!
