With its exotic gardens, majestic ocean and mountain views, and its diverse animal collection, the Santa Barbara Zoo is the ideal setting for your wedding day. The Hilltop site boasts brand-new event amenities, including a bridal changing room, full catering kitchen, and brand-new restrooms.

From black-tie affairs, to beach-themed barbeques, our lush garden setting provides a beautiful backdrop for your event and offers your guests an experience they'll never forget.

Zoo Catering Services by Rincon will work with you every step of the way to make sure your wedding day is perfect. Catering, beverage service, and rental coordination is all handled by ZCS so that you don't have to worry about the details.

The Santa Barbara Zoo offers many after-hours options to enhance your event and keep your guests entertained. You may choose to leave the animals out on display after closing or keep the train running exclusively for your guests. Add an exotic, tropical flair to your event with a bird greeting or photo opportunity while your guests are arriving. After the park closes at 5:00 p.m., your guests will have the entire Zoo to roam and enjoy in privacy.

The Santa Barbara Zoo is a private, nonprofit organization. Revenues from private events support the operation and development of the Zoo, help support conservation efforts, and enrich our education programs.

Capacity:
Site capacity varies depending upon the exact site chosen, but the Zoo can easily accomodate groups of over 500.

Fees:
The site fee for a wedding is $4,000.00 and includes use of the Palm Garden site for your ceremony and the Hilltop for your reception. Catering, rental items, and beverage services are coordinated through Zoo Catering Services by Rincon. Fees will vary based on your specific selections; please e-mail or call for an estimate.

Deposit:
The Zoo requires 50% of the site fee and a $300.00 security deposit to reserve a date.
