An Extravagant Welcome Dinner Hosted at the Tavern at Zaca Creek

The Tavern at Zaca Creek hosted this gorgeous welcome dinner for NFL player Sebastian Joseph-Day and his beautiful bride-to-be. Situated just forty minutes northeast of Santa Barbara, the ranch is everything you could hope for from California’s wine country with rolling hills, breathtaking views, and a modern elegance—the perfect spot for a grand rehearsal dinner.

Lisa Lafferty—made famous for designing the wedding of Selling Sunset star Christine Quinn—planned and coordinated the day. The couple and guests alike arrived in style to the venue and made their way to the poolside bar for drinks and passed hors d’oeuvres including delicious chicken and waffle bites. Paul Von Rieter Photography got to work and captured so many sweet and fun moments as guests mingled.

Following guest arrivals and cocktails, the party moved inside for a seated dinner. Theoni Collection provided rentals and two long King’s tables were set up for the group. An abundance of bright white and blush florals from Glenna Joy Flowers contrasted perfectly with the dark wood tables, as well as the wood flooring and ceiling overhead. Zaca Creek provided the meal for the evening and a little bit of dancing followed. Overall, the event was the perfect welcome event for the couple along with their bridal party and close family members, and was the perfect kick off to their wedding festivities!
