From Shannon Leigh Photography:

This romantic garden wedding inspiration shoot was inspired by spring and created with Megan Rose Events’ ideal bride in mind. A thoughtful, sophisticated bride who wants to celebrate her marriage surrounded by loved ones with fresh food, local wine, and an epic dance party in an elegant yet comfortable, al fresco setting. We wanted to create a design that was romantic, elegant, and contemporary with lots of natural elements. The historic Lavender Inn, nestled in the heart of charming Ojai, California, was the perfect venue. Weddings are held in the beautiful blooming garden lawn. With eight-rooms, this B&B provides on-site accommodations for the bridal party and allows couples to extend the wedding into a full weekend of events at the property. The soft neutral color palette chosen by Megan Rose Events contrasts beautifully against the lush greens of the Inn’s tranquil garden. For the ceremony, we added to the existing live arch with greenery and scattered blooms of blush and cream garden roses. Classic, white pillar candles and bistro chairs finished off the simple ceremony décor.

The stunning bride wore a delicate tulle and lace dress with a keyhole back by designer Enzoani. Fresh and dewy makeup and a low, loose bun completed her look, while the dapper groom donned a dark blue suit and smokey blue tie. Her loosely tied bouquet of garden roses, anemones, blue Tweedie, huckleberry, and eucalyptus with dried floral accents was hand-tied with tri-colored, long silk ribbons.
The reception featured two dining table designs both with clean lines and romantic floral arrangements. Grey stoneware plates and gold flatware brought a contemporary edge. While taper candles and custom menus added elegance to the neutral color palette of blush, dusty blue, and grey. The blue fondant wedding cake was adorned with delicate handcrafted, sugar flowers.
