Holiday Wedding Inspiration

Today is Christmas Eve and we are always excited for holiday season here at Santa Barbara Wedding Style - just like these couples who held their Santa Barbara weddings near this special holiday. Take a stroll down memory lane with us as we appreciate all the beautiful ways this season was incorporated into these wedding details and décor.

At a Santa Barbara Historical Museum wedding, this couple had specialized Mr. and Mrs. reindeer wedding signs made to sit at their head wedding table along with deep red linens and greenery which made the reception feel festive and fun. The bridal bouquet and other flower arrangements designed by Santa Barbara’s Alexis Ireland Florals also featured pops of red and evergreen to hint at the Christmas season.

Santa Barbara wedding planner Ann Johnson Events organized this elegant, sparkly and white winter wedding at Whispering Rose Ranch. A gorgeous Evergreen stood at the reception entryway with the guests’ escort card ornaments adorning it. Glittering snowflakes were placed on the reception tables, within the centerpieces, and on the cake tables which added to the wintery feel of the day. A group of young deer even made an appearance, on queue for this holiday-inspired event!

Deep red wedding florals and greenery from florist Cassia Forêt along with forest green chargers and gold plates and flatware graced the reception table for this Christmas themed styled shoot. The 4 layer naked wedding cake made by Freedom Bakery & Confections was topped with pine cones and berries dusted with powdered sugar, making us dream of a white Christmas even here in Santa Barbara.

We love this Santa Barbara wedding at the Belmond El Encanto featuring that bold Christmas red we know and love. The stark contrast of the red and whites in all the wedding décor and the subtle additions of gold definitely made for a dramatic and truly elegant day!
