Zaca Mesa Launches COVID Wedding “I Do, Redo” Contest

The winning couple will receive professional photos and a dinner celebration at Zaca Mesa, plus overnight accommodations in Solvang

Zaca Mesa Winery & Vineyards, the family-owned estate winery with a long-standing history in Santa Barbara County, is pleased to announce the launch of their “I Do, Redo” social media contest, allowing one couple the chance to ‘redo’ their wedding day with professional wedding photos and a fall celebration at Zaca Mesa.

In preparation for the debut of Zaca Mesa’s newly renovated indoor event spaces, The View Room and The Club Lounge & Terrace, the winery is giving one newlywed couple the opportunity to experience the new event venue and enjoy professional wedding photos in a beautiful setting as they ‘redo’ their COVID-era wedding celebration. Newlywed couples whose wedding plans were changed due to COVID-19 are invited to enter the social media contest, co-sponsored by the brand-new hotel, The Winston, in Solvang. The winning couple will receive a celebratory catered dinner and wine for six people at Zaca Mesa on October 7, 2020 and 10+ professional wedding photos in exchange for being Zaca Mesa’s wedding day “models,” plus a two-night stay for two in Solvang on October 6 - 8, courtesy of The Winston. The Winston’s sister property, Vinland Hotel and Lounge in Solvang, will extend a discounted rate on an additional two rooms for the four “I Do, Redo” attendees. The catered dinner will be provided by High On The Hog Catering, professional photography and florals provided by industry standouts Mike Larson and Forage Florals, and hair and makeup for the bride provided by Cat Elrod.

Couples wishing to enter Zaca Mesa’s “I Do, Redo” contest must submit a letter explaining their COVID-19 wedding story and why they’d like to be Zaca Mesa’s models for the day, along with at least one photo from their COVID-era wedding. Winners and their guests will be required to sign a waiver for the use of their likeness for marketing purposes, as images will be used on the Zaca Mesa website and in event marketing collateral. Full details on the “I Do, Redo” contest can be found at www.zacamesa.com/idoredo/ and on Instagram @zacamesawinery. Submissions should be sent to events@zacamesa.com no later than September 22, 2020. The winner will be announced on September 25, 2020.

Zaca Mesa’s “I Do, Redo” celebration will take place at Zaca Mesa Winery on October 7, with accommodations at The Winston in Solvang October 6 - 8, 2020. Dates are non-negotiable and winners are responsible for their own transportation. Due to Covid-19, we ask that the couple and guests be within driving distance. Winners and participating guests must be age 21 or older, willing to use their likeness for marketing purposes and dress in bridal gown/suiting for the newlywed couple, with their guests in Wine Country chic wedding attire.
