We are pleased to share this glamorous wedding planned by SBWS member Ann Johnson Events, which was featured on Style Me Pretty. From start to finish, this wedding was dressed in white and black details from the black bridesmaid dresses to all-white flowers from Floral Designs by Roni to the white and black striped tablecloths at the reception. A few pineapple elements and a beach photo shoot also added a tropical flair to the day. Rentals for the day were provided by both Spark Creative Events and Town and Country Event Rentals.

From Style Me Pretty:

From the bride's Lazaro gown and gorgeous hair by TEAM Hair & Makeup to the cheerful pineapples perfectly placed throughout this California summer soiree, a good mood is guaranteed. With Jessica Lewis behind the lens and Satellite Weddings creating one awesome feel-good film, I dare you not to smile. See it all the fun festivities right here!

From the photographer, Jessica Lewis:

When childhood sweethearts get married you know that no intimate detail of their relationship will be overlooked at their wedding! Why the pineapple you ask? This was an important detail to them because the bride has always had a slight obsession with the preppy, classic style of pineapples and the fact that "they are a symbol of warmth, welcome and celebration that's been a part of southern hospitality for centuries."

These are the little details that may seem small, but they really are the big things that make a wedding unique and special! It was a typical beautiful, sunny day in Santa Barbara when Lisa and Jon's Hollywood glam meets modern chic wedding dreams came to life!
With a brief prayer and a warm embrace from all of her bridesmaids we begun the procession of their large wedding party! Her bridesmaids wore black mermaid gowns that echoed the bride's gorgeous dress. Not to mention all the handsome groomsmen wearing crazy socks to match their personalities!

The bride made a grand entrance in a stunning Lazaro mermaid gown and a sixpence in her shoe. Keeping it personal to the couple, the groom's grandfather married them with a touching and emotional ceremony under a canopy of white flowers and crystals on the outdoor lawns at the Biltmore Hotel. After their kiss… it was all about the celebration and the unique decor perfect for a party! Marquee signs, a Hollywood inspired hand painted poster of the bride and groom in their wedding attire, gold sequins, bold black-and-white striped linens & gazebos, mixed patterns, ghost chairs and pineapple touches drew the guests in for a gorgeous sunset dinner.

After a four-course meal the guests were invited inside to enjoy an elaborate dessert bar (complete with chocolate covered pineapples) and of course a three-tiered wedding cake with pink flamingos topping it off! Guests watched the bride and groom enjoy their first dance as Mr. and Mrs. while a slideshow of their journey from childhood sweethearts to husband-and-wife played on a large screen behind them.

The guests danced the night away until the wee hours when they sent Jon & Lisa off in true glam style with a sparkler exit leading to a 1967 corvette roadster with a "just married" sign!
