Thank you for visiting the Santa Barbara Wedding website, mobile applications, and/or other services. By accessing or using the Santa Barbara Wedding website (including the mobile-optimized version), online services, mobile and other applications, and social networking platforms (each, a "Site"), whether automated or otherwise, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and any additional terms and conditions referenced below or that apply to specific areas of the Site.
Please read these Terms of Use carefully before using the Site.
THIS AGREEMENT IS A LEGAL CONTRACT BETWEEN YOU ("USER") AND SANTA BARBARA WEDDING STYLE ("SANTABARBARAWEDDING.COM," "COMPANY," "WE," OR "US").
This agreement is governed by California law.

2. Acceptance of Terms & Modifications
Binding Agreement: By accessing or using Santa Barbara Wedding Services, whether as a Visitor (browsing the website) or User (registered member, vendor, or contributor), you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy (www.santabarbarawedding.com/privacy-policy).
Changes to Terms: We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes affecting active memberships will be communicated by email at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Site after changes take effect means you accept them.
3. Registration & User Responsibilities
Account Creation: To access certain features (e.g., vendor listings, blog submissions), you may need to register an account.
Accurate Information: You agree to provide true, accurate, current, and complete registration details.
Security & Unauthorized Use: You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. If you suspect unauthorized access, notify us immediately at info@santabarbarawedding.com.
4. Memberships, Payment, Renewal & Cancellation Terms
4.1 Membership Structure & Pricing
Some services require paid memberships (e.g., vendor listings). At the time of enrollment, you will be shown — in the same enrollment screen where you provide payment information, and before any charge is made — the following material terms:
The membership price
The billing frequency (e.g., monthly)
The length of the commitment term, if any (e.g., a fixed 12-month term billed monthly), or that the membership is billed month-to-month with no minimum term
Whether the membership automatically renews at the end of its term, and on what terms
You must affirmatively check a box confirming you have read and accept these Terms before your enrollment can be submitted. We retain a record of this consent, including a timestamp, for at least three years or one year after your membership ends, whichever is longer.
4.2 Automatic Renewal
Unless your membership is a fixed, non-renewing term, memberships renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless canceled before the renewal date in accordance with Section 4.4 below. If your plan involves a fixed initial term (e.g., 12 monthly payments), we will notify you by email at least 15 days and no more than 45 days before that term ends, describing how the membership will continue (including price) and how to cancel it if you do not wish to continue.
4.3 Refunds
Membership fees already billed are non-refundable, except: (a) where required by law, (b) where we have made a billing error, or (c) where we cancel or materially downgrade the Services without cause during your paid term, in which case we will refund the unused, prorated portion of your current billing period.
4.4 How to Cancel
You may cancel your membership at any time, effective at the end of your current paid billing period, using either of the following methods:
Online: through your account dashboard, using the "Cancel Membership" option (self-service, no need to contact us); or
By email: sending a cancellation request to info@santabarbarawedding.com. We will confirm your cancellation in writing within 3 business days and will not require a phone call or additional retention step to process it.
Canceling stops future billing but does not, by itself, entitle you to a refund of amounts already billed except as described in Section 4.3. If you enrolled in a fixed-term plan (e.g., 12 months billed monthly), canceling stops future charges going forward from the date of cancellation; whether remaining term payments are owed is addressed on a case-by-case basis and we will always tell you plainly what, if anything, is still due.
4.5 Pricing Changes
We reserve the right to update pricing for future billing periods or renewal terms. Any price change affecting an active membership will be disclosed to you at least 15 days before it takes effect, with an opportunity to cancel before the new price applies.
5. Vendor Listings & Event Participation
Vendor Responsibilities: Vendors submitting listings must ensure accuracy and compliance with advertising guidelines.
No Guarantees: We do not guarantee bookings, leads, or engagements for vendors.
Event Attendee Information: If you attend an event, your name and email may be shared with participating vendors.
6. Intellectual Property & Content Use
Ownership: All content on the Site (text, images, logos, videos, graphics) is owned by Santa Barbara Wedding or its content creators.
User-Generated Content: By submitting content (e.g., photos, articles, reviews), you grant us a royalty-free, worldwide license to use, modify, and display it.
Prohibited Content: Users may not submit content that is defamatory, illegal, or infringes third-party rights.
7. Limitation of Liability & Disclaimers
"As-Is" Basis: We provide services "as is," without warranties of any kind.
No Vendor Liability: We are not responsible for vendor services, disputes, or contractual obligations between users and vendors.
Liability Cap: Our total liability is limited to $100 or the amount paid by you in the past 12 months, whichever is greater.
8. Dispute Resolution & Arbitration
Binding Arbitration: Any disputes must be resolved through binding arbitration in Santa Barbara County, California, instead of court litigation.
No Class Actions: You waive any right to file a class-action lawsuit against us.
Small Claims Exception: You may file a claim in small claims court if it qualifies.
9. Privacy & Data Usage
Your use of the Site is governed by our Privacy Policy (www.santabarbarawedding.com/privacy-policy), which explains how we collect and store personal data, how we use analytics and tracking technologies, and your rights regarding data access, correction, and deletion.
10. Third-Party Links & External Services
Our website may contain links to third-party sites (e.g., vendors, advertisers). We do not control or endorse third-party services and are not responsible for their actions.
11. Termination of Access
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these Terms or engages in fraudulent activity.
Users may request account deletion by contacting info@santabarbarawedding.com.
