Rebecca and Fernando couldn’t have timed their wedding at La Arboleda any better. The orchard and surrounding landscape were in full bloom in July, making the natural beauty of the ceremony location speak for itself. As a mid-summer wedding in the middle of Santa Barbara County, the wedding’s theme could be described as casual elegance. The groom wore a light tan suit from Northridge Suits & Tux with a jacket and no tie, while his groomsmen wore tan pants with white button downs and suspenders. On the bride’s side of the equation, the ladies wore sea foam green and her clean white gown with a sweetheart neckline was a Stella York creation. At the ceremony among the trees, the couple, with their officiant Geo Garces, performed a Filipino union tradition and a team of Clover Joan along with Corey Ockenfels photographed the proceedings.

What we adore most about this wedding is the love was that was clearly put into it and all of the well-thought-out details which can be seen throughout the reception. Yard games like giant Jenga delighted guests during cocktail hour and loved ones were able to leave custom voicemails for the couple in lieu of a traditional guest book. For decor, the bride and groom kept it simple yet stylish and even created all of the floral arrangements themselves. Pizza was the cuisine of the night catered by the local pizza parlor Pizza Garden and later dessert was served thanks to Whole Foods.

For dancing at the reception, DJ Sherwin Ruste was behind the turntable. The couple, of course, had an exciting entrance and then shared a touching first dance together. Then, there was also a surprise ballroom dance routine from the groom and his mother, before everyone was officially welcomed to the dance floor.
