Blue and Pink Hues at the Spanish-Style Quail Ranch

Today’s couple Miranda and Matt designed their big day in conjunction with wedding planner Events by Fran and held both their stunning ceremony and unforgettable reception at the Spanish-style Quail Ranch. The venue, situated in Simi Valley, is an avocado and citrus ranch with endless orchard views and a private outdoor seating area that is both cozy an elegant.
As for the event’s colors, shades of pink and blue were selected with sprinkles of gold at the reception and touches of white and yellow in the floral arrangements. Bridesmaids wore long dresses in varying hues of pink and blush, while the bride donned an all-over floral lace wedding gown with a long train from Bella Bridal Couture. The groom and groomsmen’s blue suits were from Friar Tux and accompanied by light pink ties. The ceremony location was surrounded by full and lush trees, but the couple still basked in the sun as they stated their vows.
Later, during cocktail hour, musician Amin Baghallian dazzled guests on his saxophone and drinks were served from Daisy’s bar—named after the couple’s dog—including a Tennessee mules and a watermelon margaritas. Then, the couple and their guests made their way to their seats under a canopy of beautiful oak and elegant lighting chandeliers. Here, they shared a meal from Command Catering Performance, listened to toasts, and also shared special dances including the couple’s first dance, a father daughter and mother son dance. A cake was later served by Skiff’s Cakes and the party got down to the beat of Bouquet Sound.
