Boho Chic Dreams provides comprehensive floral design services for weddings, elopements, photoshoots, and even custom installations in Santa Barbara. Owner and Lead Floral Designer, Gracie Silva, founded the company on the dream of free-flowing naturalistic designs with seasonal fresh florals, and is always looking for new ways to create. Gracie shared a few of her new ideas and goals for this upcoming wedding season, along with a couple of her recent weddings which showed off her love for gorgeous blooms and happy vibes.

From Gracie Silva, owner of Boho Chic Dreams:

The motto for this year is "2022, Fluffy Fluffy!" This year will be full of fluffy blooms and statement focal florals mixed in the vibes my clients are looking for; tropical, boho, romantic, modern, minimal, etc.

An item I would love to do more of is installations. I love a dramatic and big ceremony installation with fluffy blooms and textures. I have a passion for large focal blooms, reflexed roses, Phalaenopsis orchids, and dried accents. I'm excited for the weddings ahead this year to let me creativity shine.

Tropical, Boho Wedding at Dos Pueblos Farm

I loved this wedding so much. This was a perfect example of my company name. It was chic, they had the dream of a tropical and boho altar, and I added my hint of boho. My favorite thing to make is probably installations—and big! I did love her bright and colorful asymmetrical bouquet too with the pops of hot pink. I partnered with Ivy Weddings & Events (Tahnie) with overall design and loved how it all turned out for a clean and modern, spacious look.

Blush and Orange Florals at The Canary Rooftop

This wedding was filled with true boho vibes and I loved all of the fluffy florals to shine. The bride Jillian trusted me in designing and I went to town. I had the fluffiest and most gorgeous pampas grass that was grown locally and also used beautiful roses and orchids as the focal flowers. Some say Pampas Grass is on the way out, but I think it's here to stay if we keep it classic, tame, and fluffy. This was one for the books with the ceremony on the rooftop overlooking our special little city. I had a ton of joy designing this day and the bride’s reaction when I gave her the bouquet was why I do what I do!

Classic Villa & Vine Wedding with a Touch of Boho and Toffee Coloring

This was a classic wedding with a hint of boho. We kept it to a simple color palette with a hint of toffee and boho vibes. I loved the couple’s use of incorporating the Hotel Californian and Arlington Theater for their photos. Ann Johnson was a joy to work with as always. Probably another one of my favorite bridal bouquet moments.
