Sparks were certainly flying at this coastal dream of a wedding planned by Events by Fran and with help from planning assistant Priscilla Losey. The day began at the Santa Barbara Courthouse—one of the city’s most popular wedding venues, and for good reason. Here, Wonder Tribe Photography captured some wonderful portraits of the bride with her bridesmaids dressed in black, as well as the groom and his dashing groomsmen. This is also where the couple shared their touching first look.

Next, Silk Road Transportation helped to shuttle everyone the quick 5 minutes over to Santa Barbara’s Carousel House for a garden ceremony followed by a reception inside the beachfront, circular-shaped building. Minimalist and neutral are the two words we would use to describe the reception decor and ambiance. Light cream-colored plates, napkins, and candles lined the reception tables and boho flowers from Wild West Florals followed suit in tones of white and tan. String lights hung overhead and the house’s retractable garage doors gave the event a perfect indoor/outdoor feel.

As for dinner, Lucca Truck was parked outside to feed guests fresh wood-fired pizzas. At the same time, Simply Cocktails covered beverages and gave the couple and guests the liquid courage they needed to later bust a move on the dance floor to the tone of Gavin Roy Presents. Last, but not least, a naked two-tiered cake and other desserts from Sugar Lab Bake Shop helped to end the night on a sweet note.
