Today’s featured wedding, shot by Christina Hernandez of Nightingale Photography, included color and smiles at every turn. Knot Just Flowers provided floral arrangements in shades of red, purple, and yellow, bridesmaids wore varying bright-colored gowns which stood out against the gorgeous blues of the sky and ocean background, and even the reception plates boasted a bright blue pattern. Omni Catering and The Wild Posy both added to the multicolored event with a lineup of tasty foods and desserts.

From Nightingale Photography:

Ali and Jake’s Southern California wedding took place on the lush grounds of Rancho Dos Pueblos in Goleta, just outside of Santa Barbara. Surrounded by their closest friends and family, the darling couple shared their vows on the grassy bluff overlooking the breathtaking Pacific Ocean.

Cocktail hour and reception were held literally next to the property’s private, pristine beach. Warm breezes swept the mariachi music over the crowds as they toasted the newlyweds. As we took the couple for portraits on the magical grounds, they enjoyed an old swing, the backdrop of a barn from the 1920’s, tropical landscaping, an old bridge, and of course the epic sunset over the sea.

The wedding colors were vibrant and happy, with a nod to Ali’s Mexican heritage. And to top it off, she wore her mother’s precious lace veil down the aisle.
