Happy New Year’s Eve from us here at Santa Barbara Wedding Style! To help ring in 2022, we have compiled a few of our favorite NYE winter weddings from years past which all held as much sparkle and excitement as the holiday itself. Get inspired if you are newly engaged and planning a New Year’s wedding celebration for next year or simply enjoy a few of these fabulous events.

This gorgeous New Year’s Eve wedding at the Santa Barbara Hilton Beachfront Resort featured wedding favors with the bride and groom’s names and a clock face to celebrate the counting down to another year. Then, of course, they had to have an event photo booth equipped with New Year’s Eve party hats and accessories to capture some fun memories for the couple and their guests. To end the spectacular wedding night, everyone enjoyed a glass of champagne and a confetti shower as the clock struck midnight.

This couple celebrated their nighttime New Year’s Eve wedding in style with sparkly gold invitations, gold linens, and golden flecks on their beautiful wedding cake. They also joined in the fun with a photo booth with New Year’s Eve hats, necklaces and noisemakers. The couple even sported their festive hats as they shared a kiss in the middle of the Belmond El Encanto dance floor to end the night.

Even if you don’t want to host an evening New Year’s Eve celebration, you can plan an event just like this beautiful couple with a colorful, daytime garden wedding - because even in the “dead of winter” you can get married outdoors in the Santa Barbara region! This lovely winter day featured wonderful pops of purple and an intimate ceremony overlooking the expansive vineyards and hillside.
