From Zohe Felici:

I have to be honest — when Pantone announced their Color of the Year for 2026, I had to pause. Cloud Dancer? That's... white. Like, actually white. And I know we could get into a philosophical debate about whether white is technically a color or the absence of color, but let's be real — "Cloud Dancer" is just a fancy way of saying pristine, pure, beautiful white. And you know what? For weddings, it's absolutely perfect.

Last week Pantone released the color of the year for 2026 - Cloud Dancer — and we think it's so appropriate for weddings. This has inspired us to create a lookbook of all things white you can incorporate into your wedding day, other than your dress…

White Florals: Garden Elegance

White wedding inspiration starts with the most obvious (but never boring) choice: flowers. Swirls of white floral arrangements create an ethereal, romantic atmosphere that feels both classic and fresh. From peonies to roses to ranunculus, an all-white floral palette brings timeless sophistication to any ceremony or reception space.

White Linens & Tablescapes: The Foundation of Elegance

Nothing says refined quite like crisp white table linens paired with lush white florals. The combination creates a clean canvas that allows other details to shine while maintaining an air of sophisticated simplicity. A monochrome wedding palette has never looked better.

Flip the Script: You in Color, Guests in White

Not wearing white? Even better. One of our favorite style-forward ideas is you in a bold, colorful wedding dress (think pastel blue, soft blush, or even a rich floral print) — while asking your guests to wear all white. The result? A stunning visual moment where you truly stand out in every photo.

For the gentlemen, think crisp white suits or tuxedos — effortlessly cool and incredibly elegant. It’s a refined twist that turns tradition on its head while still embracing the Cloud Dancer vibe.

White Dance Floor = Statement Moment

Let the celebration continue with a sleek white dance floor as your centerpiece for the party. It’s clean, modern, and captures light beautifully in photos — especially under twinkle lights or a chandelier.

The Cloud Dancer Pantone Effect

White isn't boring — it's a blank canvas. It's the foundation that allows texture, light, and intentional pops of color to truly shine. Whether you go full monochrome or use Cloud Dancer as your base, this Pantone pick gives you permission to embrace the crisp, the clean, and the timelessly beautiful.

So here's to 2026, Cloud Dancer, and all the stunning white weddings to come in Santa Barbara and beyond.
