Today’s featured couple made perfect use of a beautiful late summer day for their Santa Barbara wedding. Set at the historic and quaint Lavender Inn, every detail was full of magic, from the ivy lining the inn to the outdoor ceremony held among the natural greens of the garden. The bride had her wedding hair and makeup done by California’s Cheek to Cheek Artistry before making her grand entrance in a detailed A-line wedding gown, and the groom shared a drink among his groomsmen as he prepared for the big moment. Sun and Sparrow, a southern California wedding photographer, snapped wedding photos as the couple said ‘I do’, against a background of twinkling lights covering the wedding arch.

Moving to the reception, the Santa Barbara wedding caterers at Catering Connection provided an elegant feast for the affair. To start, hors d’oeuvres were served including vegetable spring rolls and warm brie and dried apricot filo tartlets. Then for the wedding meal’s main course, guests enjoyed a variety of sweet pumpkin ravioli, wild mushroom risotto, and grilled polenta cake topped with vegetable ratatouille and fontina cheese. As Vox DJ’s, a California DJ company, brought the reception to life, guests lifted up the bride in groom in celebration and as the sun went down, a wedding champagne toast was held for the newlyweds.

To end the night, the couple cut into a beautiful three-tiered wedding cake crafted by Delicious Artistry, not to be outdone by Catering Connection’s mini dessert buffet complete with French macarons, mini creme brulée, and flourless chocolate cake.
