From Style Me Pretty:

It comes as no surprise that we love a good pop of color here at SMP, so this Santa Barbara wedding at El Encanto sure did make us do a little happy dance when we first saw it. From the bright and fluffy blooms adorning the ceremony arch by Coco Rose Design to the soft pink accessories paired with the Groom's light gray suit, the day incorporated pink and rosy hues in all the best ways. Head to the vault, where all the pretty pink inspiration captured by This Modern Romance is waiting for the taking!

Sometimes you meet a couple and just get them. The way they sit, so close and comfortably. How they finish each other's sentences and seem to continue each other's thoughts. That is Annie and Paul. The beautiful thing here is that both of these gracious, lovely, funny, and smart people share each other's goodness. From the first moment of their initial meeting to the last moment at the end of the last dance, these two were side by side sharing their love and goodness, not just with each other but with all of us.

Annie and Paul wanted their wedding to reflect their passion for fun and romance. El Encanto was the obvious choice for them and offered a warm and welcoming destination for their guests. Sometimes you hear "smile" about a thousand times from your photographer, but they needed no prompting on their wedding day. Stephanie of This Modern Romance captured their essence, following along as they stole kisses and playful looks. The soft neutral florals by Coco Rose made the lily pond the perfect backdrop for their sweet exchange of vows. A turtle even came up to visit and sat on his rock as he and the rest of the guests watched their first kiss. Next guests were treated to the fun. Pinks and pops of color reflected their fun personality and lively music filled the gorgeous ballroom. Soft light from the golden Santa Barbara sunset cascaded through the windows as Annie and Paul danced together for the first time as husband and wife. We used a balance of soft colors and textures from La Tavola Fine Linen to finish the tables. Guests enjoyed their dinner listening to loved ones toast the newlyweds, sharing stories, memories, and hopes for the future.

Last, DJ Gavin Roy took the party to the the next level, playing the couples' favorite tunes late into the night. Guests danced, laughed, ate, and drank. That connection that Annie and Paul share was now shared with all of us, and it was a goodness we won't soon forget.
