While it may have a very rainy wedding day, the weather certainly couldn't dampen this couple's spirits. The bride chose a non-traditional wedding dress, opting for a long rose gold sequined gown and a pink veil. Her bouquet featured hot pink peonies, stock and amaranthus.
For the location, the Santa Barbara Historical Museum was chosen. Florist Anna Le Pley Taylor decorated the existing arbor with flowers in a palette of bright pink and burgundy with pops of yellow. And magically, as ceremony time neared, the rain stopped. As the couple stood, listening to the officiant, the clouds parted and the sun came out just in time for their first kiss as man and wife. Afterwards, the couple went to the rooftop of the Canary for photos with the dramatic clouds from the storm. Then, dinner was held in Casa Covarrubias. Long tables featured centerpieces of garden roses and dahlias mixed with lanterns. All was captured by photographer, Tim Halberg.
