We are loving this classic Santa Barbara wedding filled with personality, planned by Events by Tiffany J. The couple really wanted to highlight the beauty of Santa Barbara’s rich history, so started the autumn day with their ceremony at the Old Mission Santa Barbara. Images from Mallory Carlson of the church’s intricate interior juxtaposed with the views from the grounds of the Santa Barbara Club are what really made this event unique.

Blush-colored wedding flowers from Antheia Floral Design helped to offset the darker colors found in the bridesmaid dresses and the grays of the groom and groomsmen’s suits. Later in the evening, DJ Ian Soleimani provided unmatched entertainment, and the couple and guests alike danced surrounded by dreamy, twinkling lights.

From the Bride:

My husband and I are both Santa Barbara locals. We went to the same high school growing up and reconnected in our young adult years, so it only made sense that we had our wedding in our beautiful hometown. The theme of the day was centered around historical landmarks in town, with our ceremony taking place at the Old Mission Santa Barbara and then our reception at The Santa Barbara Club. We loved the idea of keeping it classic, simple, and timeless and we were so pleased to find that all the details of our day really made our vision come to life.

It was important to us to have subtle hits throughout the day that reflect us as a couple such as our cocktail sign featuring our dogs, Madeline and River, some personalized coasters for our guests, our hashtag sign, and last but not least, a beautiful statement seating chart (one of my favorite details of the day)! Even though we had to push our wedding out from our original date in 2020 due to covid, we were so happy that we waited because we got to share our day with all of our friends and family...it was truly perfect!
