Today’s wedding included a traditional ceremony at the awe-inspiring Our Lady of Sorrows Church which led into a fabulous garden reception at Santa Barbara’s Riviera Mansion. The bride, with wedding hair and makeup done by La Rouge, wore a beautiful wedding gown with cap sleeves and a lace back to suit the more conventional ceremony. The groom wore a black and white paisley tie under his 3-piece gray suit. The bridal bouquet, crafted by Hogue and Co., was comprised of vibrant yellow-orange hues accented by succulents, which mimicked the floral arrangements seen throughout the ceremony and reception and even the groom’s boutonnière.

After the church ceremony and a few images captured by Rewind Photography of the couple both inside and outside of the building’s walls, it was time for the reception. As the guests entered the venue’s gardens, they were greeted by staff serving a selection of fine wines or various cocktails were also available at the outside bar. They then had the opportunity to play fun yard games including corn hole and mingle before the main course was served.

The outside reception featured round and rectangular tables decorated in all white with alternating short and tall floral arrangements with pops of yellow. Spark Creative Events helped out with the rentals and provided string lights overhead. True to the bride and groom’s fun-loving personality seen throughout their wedding, a s’mores bar was the dessert of choice, in lieu of the more traditional wedding cake, complete with varieties of chocolate, marshmallows, and graham crackers.
