Carriage and Western Art Museum of Santa Barbara

Carriage and Western Art Museum Santa Barbara Wedding Venue

Located in picturesque Pershing Park, just minutes from downtown and the beach, the Carriage and Western Art Museum offers a one-of-a-kind event space full of Old West charm. Established in 1972, this historic venue features a 5,000-square-foot indoor hall, perfect for hosting weddings, receptions, parties, or corporate events.

The unique collection of Carriages stored at the Carriage and Western Art Museum is comprised of over 40 horse-drawn conveyances manufactured between 1850 to 1911. Many of the carriages, buggies, and wagons are used in the “Old Spanish Days Parade” during Santa Barbara’s annual Fiesta Celebration!

Outdoor space is also available at the museum, accommodating anywhere from 2 to 200 guests with ease. The museum is an amazing location for line dancing and they even have instructors available for your event. The venue includes access to a kitchen and BBQ area, and you’re welcome to bring in the caterer of your choice. There’s even a built-in bar—just bring your own beverages, whether that’s water, soda, wine, or spirits.

Some tables and chairs are included, making setup simple. Whether you’re planning an intimate gathering or a lively celebration, this unique venue blends rustic character with modern flexibility.
