Ashley & Stephen's wedding at the Santa Barbara Historical Museum was a refreshing departure from tradition, embracing an intimate cocktail-hour style celebration that prioritized connection over convention. The couple created a relaxed, sophisticated atmosphere where guests could freely mingle throughout the museum's enchanting outdoor spaces, moving within the romantic fountain courtyard adorned with lush florals.

Rather than a formal seated dinner, they curated an unforgettable culinary experience featuring artisanal pizzas from Lucca Truck and handcrafted cocktails that kept the evening feeling festive and interactive. The soft, romantic aesthetic—featuring delicate blooms in shades of blush, peach, and cream by The Twisted Twig, and the museum's historic Spanish Colonial Revival architecture—provided the perfect backdrop for this modern celebration.

From the bride's stunning off-shoulder gown with its dramatic train to the couple's joyful presence among their loved ones, every detail reflected Ashley & Stephen's desire to create a warm, memorable experience where genuine moments and conversation took center stage over stuffy formality.

Ashley and Stephen were such a pleasure to work with and the whole team rocked it! Having been together for over 10 years since they met in college, they wanted an intimate cocktail dance party that was both whimsical and fun.

They love the look of natural, organic textures and specifically requested Eucalyptus into their designs. Since they also share a love of cooking, I incorporated a nod to that by designing with locally grown sage, olive, and a touch of citrus ;)
