From Chris J. Evans:

Anh + Chris were married in downtown Santa Barbara on the rooftop at MOXI Children’s Museum. They wanted their wedding to be clean, modern, elegant, and also playful - so we incorporated bright pops of color into key design elements. Anh wore a modern gown with a detailed pearl veil, and carried a white bouquet for roses, ranunculus, astilbe. Her girls wore black floor-length gowns and carried simple bouquets of white roses. Chris wore a tuxedo with a white coat and his groomsmen wore classic tuxedos.

The ceremony took place on the rooftop of the Moxi Museum as guests sipped champagne. We created a deconstructed ombre arch that faded from white to deep fuschia, creating a dramatic focal of the ceremony space. Chris’s dad married them in a heartfelt ceremony.

Cocktail hour took place inside the museum, where guests could sip cocktails, enjoy unique appetizers (including grilled cheese and chicken and waffles), and even interact with the various children’s exhibits–from building go-cars to a giant light-brite.

As the guests made their way upstairs for dinner, they were greeted with a large escort card display of Anh + Chris’ “Favorite People.” The tables were covered in charcoal linens, set with bright white china, acrylic accents, vellum menus, and varying centerpieces: some tall with tropical greenery a an others low and bountiful with white blooms and tropical accents. The head table had a bright pops of color with a 24’ long ombre floral garland. The bar also had a bright ombre floral garland with tropical foliage.

After the wedding rooftop celebration, guests made their way downstairs for a jungle-inspired neon after party, where we created a lush ceiling full of tropical foliage and had a neon photo opp designed. It was such a fun party!
