From Ann Johnson Events:

The Santa Barbara Cabrillo Pavilion was given to this beautiful seaside town in 1927. Since then it has been home to an array of events including, of course……. Weddings! It has become a favorite location because of its spacious interior and proximity to the beach. This shoot came to life to capture new renovations to a historic building. The goal was to represent a beachside wedding but with a more traditional design to mirror the grace of such an iconic Santa Barbara venue. The aqua background, the Pacific Ocean let us borrow for a day, is one that will forever be treasured at the Cabrillo Pavilion. We brought in colors to compliment and flow with the waters behind and brighten up the room. The raised wood ceilings give the ballroom an openness to be felt as an extension of the shore. While walking out on to the beach to photograph a sunset ceremony, the whole team understood what makes this venue truly unique and desirable to so many couples.
